Library Assistant
Chico Public Library is seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual to serve as Library Assistant. Applicants must be comfortable working with people of all ages and backgrounds. This position requires the use of a phone, computers and copy/fax/scanner equipment, office software, email, and social media. A working knowledge of integrated library systems (ILS) and applications, and Internet online databases is a plus. STREAM Teen Internship (February 1, 2024 - July 31, 2024)
Designed for Teens, this opportunity is open to high school students aged 16+ who are currently in their junior or senior year of high school. We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic teen interested in working in libraries, education and/or public services, technology and the arts. Priority will be given to individuals who have previously worked/volunteered in libraries and/or has a documented history of community service.
