Hawkins Scholarship Awarded
CHS graduate Macy McDaniel receives second Hawkins Scholarship to attend Texas Woman's University.
The Chico Public Library is proud to announce the awarding of the Lavonia Hawkins Scholarship to Macy McDaniel who will continue her current course of study at the Texas Woman's University during the Fall 2021 semester. A 2019 CHS graduate, Macy was influenced in her decision to become an educator by her mother who has been an elementary school teacher for many years. We wish her the best of luck in achieving her goals for the future.
