Summer Reading Quilt Winner

The drawing for the 2010 Summer Reading quilt raffle was held on December 4th during the Christmas Parade and Angel Lighting ceremony. Jeremiah Slonaker, 16, was the winner of the quilt made from the handprints of 2010 program participants. All proceeds will go to next year’s Summer Reading Program. The quilt was pieced by Barbara Kay and Myrna White, and contains the handprints of many of the community's children, library staff and board members, parents, and even our Mayor, JD Clark.

Thank you to all those who participated in the raffle, which provided and additional $200 for our 2011 Summer Reading Program.
